This is my eleventh year teaching at West Deptford Middle School, and my second year teaching seventh grade. I previously taught sixth grade social studies (five years) and eighth grade social studies (four years). I have a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick and became certified to teach K-12 social studies at Rutgers University in Camden. I came to teaching after a brief career in television production and have never looked back. I thoroughly enjoy working with kids and helping them understand that learning is lifelong and can be fun too!
I reside in Haddonfield, NJ with my wife, Sally, and our four children: Ava (13), Rex (11), Lila (9) and Cleo (9). I enjoy running, reading (nonfiction and current events), crosswords, and watching the Eagles/Flyers/Phillies/Sixers. I also enjoy competing in triathlons. In the summertime, I can be found on Long Beach Island running, biking, swimming, surfing, sailing, fishing and making drizzle castles with my kids.
